Maharaj whom is a highly respected individual within the consulting fraternity, employing personnel from various population groups and has the capacity and capability to undertake a wide range of projects of substantial value. The company has a current overall Broad-Based BEE Status of Level One Contributor (BEP EME), a BEE Procurement Recognition Level of 135% and a Broad-Based BEE weighting point’s level of 100 along with a professional indemnity insurance equivalent to R 10,000,000 with Aon South Africa.

Leshmook Maharaj (Pr Eng)
Mr. Maharaj has over 25 years of experience in the Electrical industry. He has taken Matla Consulting from a small enterprise to a multi-million-rand turnover company. He has been instrumental in ensuring the company is founded on engineering expertise, integrity and quality. Mr. Maharaj is currently identified as a senior consultant on Eskom projects. Mr. Maharaj has personally headed over R1bn of Eskom projects in the last 15 years. He has also been instrumental in securing consultancy work in the multi-million rand Westville prison RAMP project from DPW, the multi-million rand King Shaka International Airport, and various other projects as indicated on the projects list. He has now obtained a qualification in Safety Management – Intro to SAMTRAC through NOSA and ASHEPP.
